Celebrated Icons Judge an NFT Competition for AIDS Charity

Celebrated Icons Judge an NFT Competition for AIDS Charity

Merging art, glamour, music and cinema, celebrated icons including supermodels Kendall Jenner and Kate Mass, renowned musician J Balvin, creative titan Jeff Koons and visionary filmmaker Baz Luhrmann are coming together to spotlight striking NFT collections. Going beyond showcasing creativity, this NFT competition is a joint effort to raise funds for the AIDS charity, The Foundation for AIDS Research (amfAR).

While the panel awaits art to land in their laps, the clock is ticking for NFT curators worldwide to send their digital artworks to the judges before July 9. Creatives can submit their masterpieces via ‘Prospect 100‘, a digital voting platform created to debut hidden gems of the art world to the famous faces who guide it.

In collaboration with the no-code platform that allows creators to launch end-to-end NFT collections, FAIR.XYZ, the 100 virtual artworks chosen will be randomly integrated with already-existing characters designed by amfAR to create the organization’s world’s first NFT project. All proceeds from the sales, set to debut at a later date, will go toward assisting AIDS-related research.

A Celebrated Panel of Experts

amfAR’s NFT journey is a new endeavor for many panel members, whereas others have previously delved into blockchain-based technology. For example, Koons, the world’s highest-earning living artist, debuted an NFT project dubbed ‘Moon Phases’. Moreover, supermodel Moss dipped into the NFT world, releasing short videos during the NFT industry’s peak in late 2021. Conversely, such blockchain exploration is a first for Jenner and Elvis.

Surpassingly, the panel presents other imaginative souls: French designer Alexandre Dailliance, South Korean DJ Peggy Gou, Russian model Natalia Vodianova, Italian clothing designed Francesco Ragazzi and American model Alton Mason.

Alongside pioneering an AIDS charity, Prospect 100 previously launched another NFT competition in partnership with the Ukraine government to aid struggles following the tragic Russian invasion. Each platform’s initiative strives to help those in need, enticing collectors with a panel of big names.

With a history of impactful projects through iconic collaborations, Prospect 100 is set to embark on another significant milestone. By blending compassion with creativity, the platform presents an alluring model for future projects wanting to integrate art, technology and philanthropy.
