Samsung Taps Polygon, OpenSea, WoW for NFT TV Bundle

Boosting its web3 initiative GEN|3|GATE, Samsung is debuting a limited-edition ‘Web3 TV Bundle’ on April 24.

By utilizing Polygon Labs’ blockchain technology, OpenSea’s NFT marketplace, and Ledger’s secure hardware wallets, users can soon seamlessly purchase top NFTs through the ‘Samsung NFT Gallery TV App’.

The app connects with Samsung Lifestyle TVs, enhancing the Smart Hub’s ‘Art Mode’ with immersive experiences from blockchain pioneers: Illuvium, Wilder World, and World of Women, as well as Vienna’s Belvedere Museum (contributing to The Kiss NFT project).

For early adopters of its web3 portal, Samsung is offering complimentary TX1 NFTs created by the world-famous artist associated with Cartier, Paul Milinski

Those interested in acquiring a TX1 NFT must complete a form on Samsung’s GEN|3|GATE, accessible via gen3.samsung.com or the Samsung NFT Gallery TV App, before April 24.

After registration, participants will receive a code that allows them to link their existing crypto wallets or create a new one on the Samsung platform. Instructions will then appear on the screen to guide participants through the NFT minting process.

Samsung covers all gas costs and transaction fees related to the NFT minting, ensuring a smooth and cost-effective experience for all.

Notably, this isn’t the tech giant’s first venture into NFTs. It has teamed up with NiftyGateway to debut NFT Smart TV Service, integrated an NFT aggregation platform into its displays, launched an NFT store in Decentraland, and more.

Still, this latest strategy highlights Samsung’s dedication to integrating advanced technology with user-focused entertainment, bridging web2 and web3 effortlessly.
