Indian footwear brand, OCEEDEE is the latest to foray into the metaverse with its genesis NFT drop. The move comes in commemoration of its 7th anniversary this year. Created in partnership with the WazirX NFT marketplace, the collection also marks the debut of India’s first-ever footwear NFTs.

Digital Dots: What is OCEEDEE’s Genesis NFT Collection?
Called Digital Dots, OCEEDEE’s genesis NFT collection features 2015 unique NFTs. These NFTs grant holders access to the O’Club. To explain, the O’Club refers to a tiered membership based on OCEEDEE’s three legendary styles—Tamara, Julie, and Zaha. Each category comes in varying rarities.
Accordingly, each O’Club member will receive several perks. This includes exclusive digital, physical, and experiential privileges.
To bring the NFT collection to life, OCEEDEE has partnered with WazirX and CryptoSauga Club. While WazirX offers a great platform for NFT artists, CrytoSauga Club brings their technical expertise and a strong community to the table.

The collection marks yet another milestone for India’s growing NFT ecosystem. The public sale of the OCEEDEE NFT collection will go live on May 18, 2022. Later, it will be available for secondary sale on the WazirX NFT marketplace starting May 27.
