SuperRare to Curate Interactive Art Gallery with Claire Silver

SuperRare to Curate Interactive Art Gallery with Claire Silver

Introducing NFT artwork into mesmerizing physical spaces — with a helping hand from 20+ digital artists, including the renowned NFT and AI artist Claire Silver — SuperRare is preparing to host a two-month art gallery at New York’s 0x.17 starting June 1.

SuperRare first launched a pop-up gallery in May 2022 in New York’s SoHo district. This time, the upcoming pop-up interactive NFT art space will be located in the historically prosperous South Street Seaport district. The main aim for the 0x.17 event is to build on last year’s more minimalist and traditional gallery, stimulating conversation and interaction among attendees through digital art and physical spaces. Claire Silver’s standalone exhibition “Artifacts” will assist SuperRare in achieving such goals.

The SuperRare Claire Silver gallery is set to display seven unique artworks, each adopting a contrasting medium: video, still, poetry, music, 3D, generative, and avatar-equipped with an AI voice-over. The main aim behind the NFT artist’s creations is to showcase the significant potential of AI, presenting different philosophies and stirring state-of-the-art conversations among attendees.

By using diverse mediums, participants can see AI’s potential first-hand, representing examples of the innovative possibilities that lie ahead. Despite previously not being able to showcase her artwork at the Louvre as initially planned, things are finally looking up for Silver and her dedication to boosting AI, digital art and NFTs into traditional and physical realms. One of her most famous pieces is titled “a feeling i can’t put my finger on,” minted for Cozomo de’ Medici and donated to the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA).

Thanks to Silver’s participation, alongside other notable artists, SuperRare’s forthcoming exhibition will enable attendees to engage with NFT art in a way that exceeds the limitations of the digital space on-chain, providing a truly immersive experience for all walks of life to enjoy.
